Abstract :
This research developed a computerized device in order to overcome some limitations found in conventional quality control methods related to data collecting and the way by which the results are displayed to the user. Such device allows the simulation of all physical phenomena found in the process of image formation as well as it considers the influence that each parameter exerts on the others. It is an improvement not available in traditional methods. The quality control provided assess all image plain pixels, in contrast to the methods traditionally employed, that assess the field center only in most cases. As result, a simulated x-ray image is formed revealing to the user physical phenomenon influences and exposure parameter alterations exerted on the image quality.
