  • Abstract
In this paper, spatio-temporal patterns observed in brain magnetic activity have been characterized as a superposition of basis spatial modes. The proposed approach first isolates spatial modes by using spatial independent component methodology and then classifies them by performing a clustering strategy. Spatial modes have been isolated in data recorded during a yogic respiratory protocol. The application of this strategy to the magnetoencephalography data allows to find a relation between the temporal evolution of some spatial modes and the timing of the protocol.
