Abstract :
The development of electric components for micro power plants to be used in rural applications demands the test of the system under real conditions. For the assessment of different concepts on the electrical side a test bench was developed, able to emulate the prime mover windmill or water wheel. The paper presents the experimental setup and measurements on different equipments that demonstrate its capabilities and features.
