Abstract
The new model of the microwave flowmeter is described in this paper. The control method is based on the direct electromagnetical field excitation in a pipeline with a help of slots. The estimation of the scattered and incident field amplitude is presented, the amplitude of the former is an informative parameter depending on the coal dust concentration. The advantages and disadvantages of classic Doppler sensors are considered.
