Abstract :
Low cost, high speed wireless LAN networks can be integrated within the cellular coverage to provide hot spot coverage for high speed data services. This article presents a novel approach for integrating North American 3G cellular network and 802.11 wireless LAN networks. The inter-technology mobility is supported using the standard cdma2000 functions and signaling.
