Abstract :
Research on image database (especially image sequence set) is very popular recently. Let an image (or its feature) be a point in high dimensional space. Image database become a point set. Research effect on the high-dimensional space is depended on the fractal dimension of the point set. As a point set, image sequence is self similar and its fractal dimension is far less than the space dimension. The fractal dimension of the image sequence which owned same background with the alive objects moved or turned or deformed in it is far lower than the embedding space, the fractal dimension of a set consisted of image sequence and similar images is far less than the dimension of the embedding space .In the end of the paper multi-fractal methods about image analysis is discussed.
