Abstract :
The implementation of continuous wavelet transform by using log-domain circuits is a new theory and method of instantaneous companding synthesis of wavelet functions and wavelet transform. An analogue CMOS high-frequency continuous wavelet transform circuit presented in this paper performs a time-frequency decomposition of a high-frequency input signal. The VCO in the circuit is a log-domain oscillator.
