Abstract :
The paper presents 2D coaxial Bragg structures for the Strathclyde high power free electron maser. The use of 2D Bragg structures has been suggested to increase the output RF power of free electron maser or cyclotron auto-resonance oscillators. The paper also presents the RF field scattering inside 2D Bragg structures using the 3D PIC code MAGIC.
