Abstract :
The Institutes for Engineering Design and for Microtechnology at the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany are developing a software system, which enables engineers to cope with tolerances in the design of complex products. Besides the theoretical background of this software the latest progress in its development is presented in this paper.
