Abstract :
In this paper, a magnetic suspension mechanism is controlled using a fuzzy logic control implemented on a finite-element method code. The used controller is the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. The axisymmetric magnetostatic formulation is applied. Therefore, the dynamic behavior of magnetic suspension can be calculated point-by-point generating, for each position analyzed, a static result for the corresponding time. The current results, displacement, and velocity conclude that the implemented control satisfies the design requirements.
