Abstract :
We design a concatenated code structure with very simple component codes that can be combined with high-order modulations to achieve good power and bandwidth efficiency, and can be iteratively decoded at high data rates using highly parallelized decoders. In this paper we simulate the performance of these codes over additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and Rayleigh fading channels.
