Abstract :
This paper describes a Ku-band transmit and receive small aperture antenna suitable for operation while on a moving high mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV) in the 11.7-12.2 GHz downlink and 14.0-14.5 GHz uplink fixed satellite service (FSS) frequency band. This paper reflects our goal to develop the antenna using COTS components with low mass, small aperture, low sidelobe properties.
