Abstract :
The main results of this paper are the conditions on channel matrices and real optimal transmitter adaptation sequences such that the received multipath sequences are real generalized WBE (Welch bound equality) sequences. Total weighted squared correlation (TWSC) in the presence and the absence of the colored noise in multipath channels for multiple cell synchronous DS-CDMA systems is defined. As an optimality criterion we used the minimum of the TWSC for a given signature sequence set in slow flat multipath channels and in the presence of colored noise. Numerical results for overloaded DS-CDMA systems are presented in order to support our analysis.
