Abstract :
In this paper, a new iterative multiuser detector for non constant modulus constellations like 16 or 64 QAM is proposed. In fact a major part of the works on iterative multiuser detection for CDMA systems was dealing with constant modulus constellations for the reason that the CDMA systems, generally, use BPSK or 4-QAM modulation. By investigating an iterated-decision multiuser detector we ameliorate its performance for constant modulus constellations. Based on these results, the new iterative multiuser detection for non constant modulus constellations is proposed showing good performances.
