Abstract
This paper proposes a novel routing protocol to reduce routing update overhead in personal area network mobility (PANEMO). In order to reduce routing update overhead, this paper introduces the notion of multi-level region. Mobile routers (MRs) exchange link state information with their neighbor MRs with a frequency depending upon hop count to the destination. From updated link state information, MRs construct the topology map of the entire network and compute optimal routes.
