Implementation of MPEG2-TS streaming system over wireless 1394 network

Wireless 1394 is an emerging technology for enabling wireless AV streaming. Wireless 1394 specification integrates the IEEE 1394 standard and the wireless access technology for broadband home networking. In this paper, we present the implementation of Wireless 1394 and MPEG2-TS streaming system over Wireless 1394 network. The implemented MPEG2-TS streaming system consists of a MPEG2-TS stream, a home server, a client PC, a wireless 1394 network and an UPnP based multimedia streaming application. The experimental results show that our system performs SD level MPEG2-TS streaming over wireless 1394 network successfully.
