Abstract
We propose and demonstrate a simple scheme for all-optical label switching using 2nd harmonic subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) technique, which is robust to the- wavelength drift of an optical filter and the transmitter. Independent modulations for the label and the payload make the baseband payload signal format-free and maintained with high extinction ratio (ER). The 155 Mb/s label and the 10 Gb/s payload are carried out.
