Abstract :
This paper discusses lessons learned about the pros and cons of using a data warehousing approach for storage and retrieval of spatially-qualified data in the EOSDIS Data Pool. The paper presents alternative strategies for the storage and retrieval of the spatially-qualified data products, and discusses the data insert and data retrieval performance implications of each.
