Abstract :
Geothermometry of Xitieshan-Golmud-Yadong profile in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau shows that except the temperature of the northern Chadum Basin is higher than that of the other massifs, the geothermal state of each massif in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau appears high in the south and low in the north generally. The temperature of Lahsa-Gangdisi massif is the highest, the Himalayas massif comes next, and then the Qiangtang, Kekexili-Bayankela, Kunlun massif. The geothermometry results coincide with the division of each massif and fault. Temperature of the fault is obviously higher than that of the low-temperature massif next to it, and the temperature of Shiquanke-Yalu Tsangpo River fault is the highest. The experimental method is easy to operate to reveal the geothermal action state of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau that provides an important basis for the study of geothermal dynamics in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
