  • Abstract
    The auto and cross-correlation functions have proven to be valuable tools for many digital signal processing applications. Here, we extend these two functions and define the subband auto and cross-correlation equivalents. The new functions provide precious insight on the time-varying structure of non-stationary signals. For an efficient implementation recursive filters arranged in a filter bank structure are employed.
