Abstract :
We introduce MENeT (monitor for Ethernet network traffic) toolkit for analyzing the network traffic and to predict the traffic of future. The toolkit is an extension to the earlier developed utility for traffic monitoring. The toolkit is operational on the platform of windows NT/2000. MENeT is developed in Microsoft Visual C++ environment. Presently only the DOS based version of MENeT is present; steps are in place to develop a Visual Utility and to make it platform independent.
