Abstract :
The evolution of networking technologies to build carrier networks coupled with the diversity of the services proposed by the Internet operator leads to a complexity to master performance, QoS, strategy, etc. at the same time. Today´s stakes need certain network reactivity, i.e. flexibility and dynamicity because the engineering is multidimensional and the choices are not unique. A global view integrating all the dimensions leads us to propose a new concept that we refer to as architecture engineering (AE). We propose to define a model distinguishing two types of relations: vertical and horizontal. The first type of relations allows the cohabitation between architectural layers supporting QoS declination, and the second allows the intra-domain and inter-domain cooperation supporting traffic engineering rules. This model is the support of the design of the organizational driver dealing with the network reactivity. In this paper, we consign all the analysis with an example of application.
