Abstract :
Key management for large dynamic groups is all the way a difficult problem because of scalability and security. This paper presents a new method for key management for group communication, which inherits the model of the logical key tree algorithm but implements group rekeying through one-way function together with random number and the old keys. Compared with the previous schemes, such as logical key hierarchy (LKH) and one-way function tree (OFT), the proposed method is more efficient while secure against arbitrary collusion attacks.
