Dimensional measurement system based on digital image and laser meter

This paper describes 3D measurements system for length or dimensional check of buildings and structures, and proposes a simple algorithm for 3D measurements based on digital image and a laser range finder. We list the necessary requirements to be considered on development the system. Based on the requirements, we design and develop a dimensional measurement system.
