Abstract :
This paper describes a novel mass measurement method under weightless conditions by using a smart cantilever beam patched piezoelectric materials. This proposed method adopted the concept of smart structures and system identification theory in order to measure mass under weightless conditions. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed measuring method is capable of measuring the mass.
