Abstract :
This paper investigates adaptive robust stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear systems with uncertain time-delay. First, an extension of LaSalle-Yoshizawa theorem is given for the nonlinear time-delay systems, which provides a sufficient condition for convergence of partial states with boundedness of the system. And then using the proposed condition, a design approach to adaptive stabilizing controller is shown for the nonlinear systems. Moreover, it is also shown that the proposed design method can be extended to the case where the nonlinear time-delay system is of strict parametric-feedback form.
