Abstract :
The surface roughness measurement called the pattern projection method uses the contrasts of the images. In the system with a video camera, the experiments and the analysis in this paper show the deviation of the contrasts from the theoretical calculation is originated from the dark output of the camera. The improvement can be performed as a result of this study.
