Abstract :
The flowmeter, which uses various measurement principles, has been put to practical use by measuring the flow of various fluids. The flowmeter is useful for e.g. air conditioning facilities, semiconductor-fabrication equipment, various plant equipment and industrial buildings. A fundamental research necessary to put a small low-priced fast-responding flowmeter to practical use was initiated. The flowmeter, equipped with a pitot tube, can be used for 1:20 or more measuring range to the gas, the liquid, and the measurement fluid. The flow measurement principle uses a micro fine pressure difference sensor on its pitot tube. Differential pressure measurement uses the Bernoulli theorem for trial purposes. The use of the flowmeter for measuring continuous laminar air flow with turbulence through small diameters can be widely researched because of the expanded measuring range.
