Abstract
In this paper we propose a new fault detection method for robust control systems. Our technique is based on the singular value analysis of system matrices that are intermittently updated by direct identification. A threshold of system fault has been derived with respect to robust stability of the closed loop system. The numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
