Abstract :
Our computations of sensitivity distributions of concentric-ellipsoid (CE-I), inverse binomial of order two (IB/sup 2/) and concentric-ring (CR) systems predict that waveforms of single fiber action potentials detected by the IB/sup 2/ and CR systems would be classified into two types depending on fiber-electrode spatial relationship, while the CE-I system into one type regardless of spatial conditions.
