Abstract :
In this paper, a method to control the impact phenomenon is proposed. To enhance the performance of the control, the estimation mechanism of the coefficient of reflection (COR) is built in the controller. The estimate of the COR is updated by using the error between the actual and the desired impact. We verified the method by using the pendulum-like machine.
