A grid-oriented genetic algorithm for estimating genetic networks by S-systems

In this paper, we propose a framework for enabling easily develop grid-oriented genetic algorithm (grid-oriented GAs) that are GAs running on the grid and "gridify" the method for estimating genetic networks based on S-systems, which is proposed by our group. We evaluate the proposed system by applying the five-gene genetic network estimation problem on the grid testbed consisting of three sites that has been made in our laboratory.
