Abstract :
In this paper, it is shown that a variable reluctance hybrid magnet is developed to apply to a new type of high-torque motor. The variable reluctance hybrid magnet is composed of a permanent magnet, an electromagnet and a yoke. The variable reluctance hybrid magnet can be a higher torque than that of a normal type. The motor applying the hybrid magnet is manufactured as an experiment, and the characteristics of the hybrid motor are measured. As the result, it is shown that the hybrid motor can be high-torque characteristics.
