Proposal of a system that automatically synthesizes music suitable for dances

We propose a system that synthesizes music suitable for emotional expressions of dances. This system divides a dance into a few seconds periods. Then, it extracts factors from dancer´s motion, and transforms them into an emotional vector, then selects the most suitable music by comparing it with vectors expressing emotions of music. We developed this system and evaluated it.
