Abstract :
H/sup /spl infin// control problem is discussed for a class of input delay systems. Recently a solution to the H/sup /spl infin// control problem, which covers the preview and delayed control, is also clarified based on the state-space approach. In case when the time delay occurs between the disturbance and the regulated output of the generalized plant, it is shown that the solvability and the solution (control law) are characterised based on an H/sup /spl infin// control problem defined for the delay-free system. It is also illustrated that the solution obtained here provides a design method of robust stabilizing control law against additive/multiplicative perturbations. The key idea in the derivation is also presented along with some recent results.
