Abstract :
We developed the particle size measuring method in which flour particles were statically floated in the upward airflow. Spherically equivalent diameter of the floating particle was obtained by an elliptical approximation of the image. The floating method was applied to obtain the particle size distribution and confirmed that the measuring time was reduced to one third as compared with the conventional 3-dimensional measuring method.
