Abstract
Emf change is a serious problem in the thermocouple calibration. In this paper, Pt/Pd thermocouples have been made using single lot of wire under various heat treatments, and their emf changes have been measured at the freezing point of silver. Heat treatment at temperatures between 850/spl deg/C and 1030/spl deg/C has shown that the change in the emf of the thermocouple has been prevented.
