Abstract :
A new de-noising method based on wavelet transform and modified Hampel filter is proposed considering the different features of the wavelet transform coefficients of useful signal and the white noise. It is applied to reduce the white noise in the observed data series. This method has two adjustable parameters and has better adaptability and de-noising performance when the signal or the SNR of signal change. Experimental results show that this method has good performance in de-noising especially in the case of a weak signal with strong noise.
