Abstract :
This paper proposes an extension design method for an FFC by CDM with a tuning factor /spl alpha/. The proposed FFC is added to the I-PDA control system in order to improve the speed of the transient response. The effectiveness of the controller for different system type of third-order plants is demonstrated by the simulation results. The parameters of the I-PDA controller are designed based on the stability and the speed of the controlled system. Stability and speed are designed from the standard stability index and the equivalent time constant respectively.
