Abstract
It is shown that sigma-delta (ΣΔ) algorithms can be used effectively to quantize finite frame expansions for Rd. Error estimates for various quantized frame expansions are derived, and, in particular, it is shown that ΣΔ quantizers outperform the standard PCM schemes.
