Abstract :
This paper studies multi-step ADCs with a trapping window. The window extracts available output code length for higher resolution and the multi-step quantizer is suitable for faster conversion. The system performance is analyzed based on the theory of nonlinear dynamical systems. Advantages/disadvantages of related ADCs are summarized as useful information for future efficient ADCs.
