Abstract :
The design of linear phase FIR filter with constraints in frequency domain and/or time domain is considered. An iterative eigenfilter design method is proposed to design linear phase FIR filter with various design constraints. The eigenfilter formulation allows the filter design specification to incorporate time domain constraints and spectral constraints simultaneously. Various design examples are presented to illustrate the versatility of the proposed filter design method.
