Abstract :
In this paper, we successfully demonstrate the use of a micro-genetic algorithm (m-GA) to the problems of microwave image reconstruction for perfect electrically conducting cylinders, even when there is only a limited number of measured data available. We have also presented the comparison between the performance of conventional GA and m-GA, and the result shows that m-GA converges much faster than the conventional GA.
