  • Abstract
    A method of the conformal transformation, combined with an analytical model, for calculating the input impedance of spherical conformal antennas is developed in this paper. It is demonstrated to maintain the simplicity and clear physical explanation of the analytical model for deciding the characteristics of antennas, while the result showed it matches the MoM results well. The computational efficiency is improved dramatically, compared with traditional numerical methods.
