Abstract :
A novel chromosome generation method is proposed for the genetic algorithm (GA) that optimizes the antenna configuration of small planar and meander line antennas. A maze-generating algorithm is introduced into chromosome generation to overcome the problems related to the conventional chromosome generation method, such as slow convergence and difficulty in manufacturing. The calculation results show the effect of the proposed method.
