Abstract :
In this paper, some considerations on a recently developed heuristic model for taking into account passive intermodulation (PIM) in electromagnetic scattering are carried out to get a better insight on the model itself. The time domain physical optics method is used in the PIM heuristic model. Considerations are focused on the PIM level as a function of the incident power so as to verify that results are compatible with independent measures.
