Abstract :
This paper presents parametric simulation results for a single layer U-slot patch antenna for εr = 4.5 with unequal slot widths in the three arms of the U-slot. The paper emphasizes the significant change observed in the impedance loci of the U-slot due to variation of the horizontal arm of the U-slot as opposed to the variation in the two vertical arms.
