Abstract :
A simple method, called the 1D super-resolution combined with pairing (1DSRCP) method, is proposed for extracting 2D scattering centers. The method separately estimates the frequencies in each dimension by 1D super-resolution techniques and groups them according to the spectra of possible frequency pairs. The possible frequency pairs are determined by auxiliary conditions. The 1DSRCP method can be easily implemented. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method is effective, and the extracted scattering centers can be used as features for target identification applications.
