Abstract :
A microstrip Yagi array on a substrate with unitary dielectric constant is proposed. Though the design is out of Huang´s limitation, its performance is comparable to the conventional microstrip Yagi array. Its loss, weight and cost are lower than the conventional one since the dielectric material is air or foam.
