Abstract :
Cross modulation distortion (XMD) of narrow and wide-band jammers in W-CDMA mobile receivers is analyzed using statistical methods and a novel HPSK signal model. Statistical properties of HPSK signals are compared to those of QPSK and OQPSK signals and their effect on XMD is explained. The derived closed-form expressions for XMD are confirmed by the measured data.
